One of my students introduced me to a new (to me, anyway) reality show on the Fox Reality network. The show is called Solitary, and it appears to be setup like a psychological experiment, with contestants in isolation chambers, their every move controlled by a disembodied voice named Val.
I'm not sure what I want to do with this just yet with regard to my class, but I thought I'd ask around to see if any of you are familiar with this one--or if you're not, what your initial response is to the premise. I'm a bit horrified that I wasn't horrified, but intrigued. My co-worker looked a bit queasy when I told him about it.
